--Call for Papers-- *First International Workshop on Information Networking and Wireless Communications (INWC-2011)* September 7-9, 2011, Polytechnic University of Tirana, Albania To be held in conjunction with: The 14-th International Conference on Network-Based Information Systems, NBiS-2011. http://www.takilab.org/conf/nbis/2011/ Polytechnic University of Tirana, Albania ========= Scope: ========= Nowadays, information networks are developping very rapidly and evolving to heterogeneous networks. Thus, we have an increasing number of applications and devices. To optimize the communication in these heterogeneous systems, we need to propose and evaluate more complex schemes, algorithms and protocols for wired and wireless networks. Wireless communications are characterized by high bit-error rates and burst errors, which arise due to interference fading, shadowing, terminal mobility, and so on. Since the traditional design of the algorithms, methods and protocols of the wired Internet did not take wireless networks into account, the performance over wireless networks is largely degraded. Especially, the multi-hop communication aggravate the problem of wireless communication even further. To solve these problems, there has been increased interest to propose and design new algorithms and methodologies for wireless communication. The aim of this workshop is to present the innovative researches, methods and numerical analysis for wireless communications and wireless networks The workshop seeks original contributions in all relevant areas, including but not limited to the following topics. ==================== Topics of interest: ==================== Network Protocols Network Analysis Web Applications Distributed Systems Parallel Systems Routing Algorithms Sensor Networks Ad Hoc Networks Intelligent Networking Systems Wireless Communication and Computing Numerical Calculation for Wireless Communications Microwave Communication Devices Wireless Networks Protocol Analysis Mobile Computing Propagation, Diffraction and Scattering Experimental and Simulation Evaluation ================== Important Dates ================== Submission Deadline: April 20, 2011 Authors Notification: May 10, 2011 Author Registration: June 10, 2011 Final Manuscript: July 1, 2011 Conference Dates: September 7-9, 2011 ======================= Submission Guidelines ======================= Submit a full paper not more than six pages (Conference proceedings manuscripts: two column, single-spaced), including figures and references, using 10 font size, and number each page.
