Scope
Cooperative communications, relaying and distributed MIMO have been recognized as key technologies for increasing the system capacity, enlarging the coverage area and enhancing the quality-of-service.
Although the promises and potentials of these key technologies are apparent, realizing them gives rise to various challenges in PHY-, MAC-,
and Network-layer. ACCORD'2013 will bring researchers and experts together to present and discuss the latest research contributions that
address cooperative communications, relaying and distributed MIMO related issues and challenges, ranging from theory to practices, from
architecture to algorithms. Technical papers describing original, previously unpublished research are solicited. Topics include, but not
limited to:
Cooperative multiple access technologies
Scheduling and resource management for cooperative wireless
communications
Advanced relaying
Distributed MIMO and space-time coding for cooperative wireless
communications
Network coding for cooperative wireless communications
QoS-driven resource allocation for cooperative wireless networks
Protocols and algorithms for cooperative wireless relay networks
Cross-layer design and optimization for cooperative wireless
networks
Game theory for resource management in cooperative and distributed
networks
Intelligent knowledge acquisition and information sharing in
cooperative wireless networks
Satellite-terrestrial cooperative wireless networks
Cooperative communications in Standards
