Scope
The emergence of large
scale distributed computing paradigms, such as Cloud
Computing and Mobile Computing Systems, has opened up many
opportunities for Collaborative Emerging Systems (CES).
Collaboration services are at the core of any Emerging
System, aiming to support collaboration among individuals,
inter-teams and intra-teams. While most CES sytems have focused on using groupware systems
(shared workspaces, video-conferencing, etc.) to support
sharing and collaboration within one domain, the trend is to develop CES
systems capable to support CES at large scale integrating.
The objective of CES is thus to support efficient
collaboration at large scale by
addressing heterogeneity
of resources, multi-domain nature, availability of
resources, system reliability, etc.
The aim of COLLABES workshop is to gather innovative academic research results and best practices related to all aspects of CES. Topics of interest for the workshop include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Emerging Technologies for Collaborative Enterprise Systems
- Multi-Enterprise Collaborative Systems
- Big Data based Collaboration
- Collaborative Systems for Virtual Campuses and
ICT Educational Platforms
- Big Data Learning Analytics
- Massive Processing for Autonomic Collaborative Enterprise Systems
- Mobile Collaborative Systems
- Social Networking for Collaborative Enterprise Systems
- Replication & Synchronization for Collaborative Emerging Systems
- Engineering Collaborative Emerging Systems
- Supply Chain Collaboration and Optimization Processes
- Convergence and Integration Issues in Collaborative Enterprise Systems
- Failure-free Collaboration at Enterprise Systems
- Secure Collaboration at Enterprise Systems
- Emerging Trends and Applications
