Conference Venue

Chiang Mai is considered as a top travel destination. With rich cultural background and natural beauty, the city welcomes more than 15 million visitors a year. Visitors can enjoy cultural attractions within the city area, such as historic places or temples, by walking or bicycling. On the other hands, a day trip to nearby national park or other natural activities such as elephant riding or ziplining are also very popular among travellers. Chiang Mai International Airport is an international hub in South-East Asia area with more than 25 airlines operated at the airport. There are many international direct flights from the airport to, for example, China, Vietnam, Qatar, Malaysia, Singapore and South Korea. For more international direct flights, visitors can transit at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok which has direct links to more than 50 destinations in the world including Asia, Europe and USA.

How to Travel to/from Chiang Mai International Airport

  • Personal/Rented car: The hotel is 10 minutes by car from the airport. There are many rented car companies service in the airport. International driving license is honoured in Thailand.
  • Taxi/Limousine service: There are two taxi/limousine services in the airport. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depend on the traffic. The fares is about 200 Baht (approximately 6 USD)
  • Red truck/Took took: There are also local services outside the airport. The fare is about 50-200 Baht (1.5-6 USD approximately), depended on negotiation.
