Special Issues of International Journals

Authors of selected papers accepted and presented at the conference will be invited to submit their work with extended results in the specials issues of the following journals:

International Journal of Virtual Communities and Social Networking (IJVCSN)

The Journal is indexed in: DBLP, Google Scholar, INSPEC Library, Information Science Abstracts (LISA) and other indexing services and directories.

Message: Authors are invited to extend their conference papers using the following tentative plan: Authors must inform the lead SI Editor (Prof D. Akoumianakis, da[at]epp[dot]teicrete[dot]gr) of their intention to submit an extended version of their conference paper by October 31st 2012. The SI CFP will be emailed to those who have confirmed their intention.

The tentative schedule for this special issue is as follows:

October 31th, 2012: Confirmation of your Intention to Submit an Extended Version
December 5th, 2012: Submission of the Extended Manuscript (PDF file only)
January 5th, 2013: Notification of First Results with Reviewers’ Comments
February 5th, 2013: Submission of the Revised Manuscript (PDF file + letter with response on how reviewers’ comments were addressed)
February 10th, 2013: Final Notification to Authors
February 20th, 2013: Submission of the Camera Ready Version (MS Word file, TIFF image files and copyright signatures, etc)
